Swerve Strickland will be facing off against Samoa Joe for the AEW World Championship at Sunday night’s AEW Dynasty 2024 pay-per-view event, and he threw out the first pitch at Saturday’s St. Louis Cardinals game.

A new match has been announced for Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, as Jon Moxley will be defending the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship against Powerhouse Hobbs.
During Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, Don Callis responded to Moxley’s challenge to Hobbs from this week’s edition of Dynamite by confirming that the two would be facing off on next week’s show with the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship on the line.

And finally, Afa Anoa’i Jr. took to Twitter on Saturday to announce that he’s taken ownership of WXW Wrestling and will be bringing the company to cable TV in the state of Pennsylvania.
While Afa Sr. previously owned the promotion, it was reported back in February that the company would be shutting down due to Afa Sr.’s health issues.
