AEW President Tony Khan was certainly feeling worse for wear after being the subject of an attack during the latest edition of AEW Dynamite.
Khan was attacked by Jack Perry and The Elite in the closing moments of the show after reinstating Perry as part of the promotion’s roster.
Fightful Select is reporting that Khan didn’t just immediately sell the effects of the attack, but continued to do so throughout the night backstage after the segment.
The angle with Khan has bled into the world of football, as Khan’s status for the upcoming NFL draft has been described as “questionable” on the NFL’s official website.
Shad Khan, Tony’s father and the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars appeared on Dynamite and checked on his son after the attack.
