WWE was originally aiming to return to live events in August, however that plan has been thrown off the table. The company will be holding this year’s SummerSlam at the Performance Center. Due to recent surges with COVID-19, WWE has now switched gears and looking to try for live events in September instead, according to WrestleVotes.

WWE were originally wanting to see about holding shows at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, Florida. However, due to the recent spikes with the coronavirus, officials have decided to reverse those plans indefinitely. WWE is remaining positive and highly optimistic about their live event relaunch in September.
