Hulk Hogan recently appeared on Ric Flair’s WOOOOO! Nation podcast, here are some highlights…

* In regards to his departure from the WWE Hogan seemed very concise in his understanding that the WWE did what they had to do. He said that at the end of the day the one thing that can’t be taken away from him is the loyalty of his fans. Saying that the loyalty of the fans is something that he will never take for granted. He knows that he has had a great career and created some great memories. He doesn’t have a bad word to say about Vince McMahon and the WWE.

* The two also talked about a time in TNA when they were both signed at the same time. At the time Hogan was a member of the creative team and on one Impact he convinced Ric to take a clothesline from him while Ric was rolling down the ramp in a wheelchair. Flair recalled that the crowd popped huge for the clothesline and said it’s hard to make the old Impact Zone pop because there is a lot of non-wrestling fans. Hulk said he also does not have a negative word to say about Dixie Carter because she supported him through some tough surgeries. He did concede that being in TNA was a “tough gig.” Flair made a point to put over James Storm and Bobby Roode as great talents. Flair also said that the decline for the company comes as a result of inconsistent booking and having, “too many cooks in the kitchen.” He also said that TNA had them delivered too and from the arena each night and that most of their time in Orlando was spent at the hotel bar.
