According to sources, it seems as if WWE is looking to upgrade their tag-team championship belts. IWNerd is reporting that WWE is going to modify the RAW & Smackdown Live Tag-Team Championships so that they will have custom plates similar to the main belts to possibly represent the superstar and/or team that are the current holder(s) of the title(s) and so that the plates are removable.
For example, as The Usos are the current holders of the Smackdown Live Tag-Team Titles, the plates would have something on it to represent them & also being removable for the next holders. The custom/removable plates will also allow WWE to upgrade the costs of the belts on WWE Shop.
