As we previously reported here on eWn, YOH has been pulled from the NJPW ‘Best of the Super Juniors’ tournament due to a recent shoulder injury.

Fellow NJPW wrestler KUSHIDA is volunteering to replace YOH in the tournament.

KUSHIDA said, I’m here in Haneda airport. Just got back from Australia and about to head to the UK. But I just heard that with YOH’s injury, Best of the Super Jr. 31 needs a little help. So I just cleared my schedule for May and KUSHIDA will spend the month in Japan. Sorry to butt in, guys, but I’ll come from missing the cut right the way to the trophy. See you all soon.

The Motor City Machine Guns wrestled their final TNA match on last night’s episode of TNA Impact on AXS TV.

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin were beaten by Eddie Edwards and Brian Myers in a tag team title match.

The match marked the end of Motor City Machine Guns’ contracts with TNA. The duo is rumored to be heading to AEW.

You can check out Sabin’s “thank you” tweet below:

Several NWA talents are headed to Puerto Rico for the World Wrestling Council’s May event. Kenzie Paige, Homicide, Thom Latimer, Thrillbilly Silas Mason, Natalia Markova, Kerry Morton, Bryan Idol, and others will be working the WWC Honor vs. Treason show on May 11 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico.

And finally, NJPW has announced a STARDOM tag team match for United Japan Pro Wrestling’s ‘All Together’ event. AZM and Miyu Amasaki will take on Starlight Kid & Natsupoi. UJPW is a joint effort that also includes NOAH, DDT, Dragon Gate, BJPW, and STARDOM. The event takes place on May 6 at the Nippon Budokan.
