Following this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite (Fyter Fest – Night Two), AEW President Tony Khan came out and addressed the live crowd who were at the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas. Khan thanked everyone for coming out and sticking around for the AEW Dark: Elevation tapings. He said,

“Thank you for being here. We’re just getting started. I want to tell you a little about what’s coming. The first match we’re going to have features one of the top wrestlers in AEW. His name is Jungle Boy. We’re gonna’ have some great matches, including PAC vs. Chuck Taylor as the main event of Elevation. That’s a huge match.”

Khan also referenced WWE’s Performance Center during his promo, saying,

“Ladies and gentlemen, we don’t have a Performance Center in AEW. This is our Performance Center. We have the best young wrestlers in the world and this is where we showcase them.”

Khan ended his promo by announcing that Eddie Kingston would be the special guest commentator for this week’s AEW Dark: Elevation broadcast, which would begin taping right now.
