The report details the exact moment of the injury, when Riley Osborne executed a daring dive outside the ring, causing Bernal’s leg to buckle under the pressure. The severity of the injury was evident as Bernal, unable to stand on his own, required immediate assistance from a referee and his tag team partner, Drake Morreaux, after the match.
It has been reported that Osborne has not been blamed for the injury, as NXT sources consider it an unfortunate accident. Bernal confirmed that he suffered a broken foot requiring surgical intervention and anticipates being sidelined for approximately six months.
