Von Wagner, who was previously managed by Robert Stone, was on the list of WWE talents who were released last week.
In light of Wagner’s release, speculation has arisen regarding Stone’s status with WWE.
Fightful Select is reporting that Stone has taken on a new role within the company as a producer, and is set to debut on tonight’s episode of NXT Spring Breakin’ (Night One).
Stone will co-produce a match between Fallon Henley and Jaida Parker in collaboration with Matt Bloom.
While Stone’s new role does not currently include a pairing with another wrestler, it is worth noting that other prominent talents, such as Pete Dunne and Shawn Spears, have also recently been working with WWE as producers.
Nonetheless, WWE has released every Superstar managed by Stone, including Mercedes Martinez, Aliyah, Von Wagner, Taya Valkyrie, Jessi Kamea, and Chelsea Green (rehired).
