Jacob Fatu has significantly impacted WWE within just one week of joining the company.

Fatu, a new member of The Bloodline, demonstrated his prowess by coming to Solo Sikoa’s aid on SmackDown. Fatu effectively took down Randy Orton, Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes, and Kevin Owens before delivering a remarkable splash off the top rope, ultimately sending Rhodes crashing through the announce table.

Having previously excelled in MLW as a prominent figure, Fatu concluded his tenure with the promotion in February at MLW SuperFight.

WWE has moved swiftly to secure the trademark for his moniker “Samoan Werewolf” while also filing for the nickname “Caesar Sikoa,” which is now expected to be associated with Solo Sikoa.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that there was initial contemplation of naming Fatu “Caesar Sikoa.” Nonetheless, the decision was made to retain his actual name, Jacob Fatu, which deviates from the industry’s typical practice of creating and owning ring names.

Dave Meltzer noted, “Caesar Sikoa was the first idea for Fatu’s name, but they made the call to keep his Jacob Fatu name, which is surprising since it’s his real name.”

Under Vince McMahon’s leadership, there was a policy for the company to take full ownership of ring names, preventing talent from using their real or trademarked names. As a result, WWE would create new names for its performers.

However, under the current leadership of Triple H, this approach seems to have become less prevalent.
