During a recent appearance on Spaces, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque shed light on the concept of WWE Speed and revealed that the upcoming matches on Speed will feature women wrestlers as well.
He said, “It comes from short-form content. If we could take that feeling out process that talent have in the ring with each other and just have them go for broke right when the bell rings because they only have three minutes to get the job done. It makes for an exciting challenge for the guys. It makes for an exciting challenge for eventually what will be the women as well. So far, it’s been spectacular. The talent have really embraced this and gotten into the challenge of it. It’s been exciting for them and our fans as well.”
Roxanne Perez will defend the WWE NXT Women’s Championship against SmackDown’s Chelsea Green next Tuesday.
Green tweeted, “Woke up feeling like your new WWE NXT Champion.”

Former WWE Women’s Champion Carmella expressed high praise for Natalya following the NXT Underground match between Natalya and Lola Vice at NXT Spring Breakin’ (Night Two).
Carmella emphasized the imperative of acknowledging Natalya’s contribution to the industry and giving her the respect she deserves. She tweeted,
“I think it’s time yall start putting some damn respect on @NatbyNature name. NO ONE is doing it like her. Not only for her talent… she’s ALWAYS giving back. We don’t deserve her. 🖤🩷”
Vice defeated Natalya using a spinning back fist. The Queen of Harts broke the hold on Vice to help Karmen Petrovic, who was attacked by Shayna Baszler on the outside.
