Following a recap of last week’s episode, tonight’s “do or die” matches are hyped up. It’s revealed that Matt Hardy and EC3 will have a face off discussion for the first time since Bound for Glory.

Singles Match: Awesome Kong vs. Brooke

Brooke uses her quickness early on to avoid Kong’s offense. Kong is able to catch her and proceeds to toss her across the ring. Brooke’s strikes are ineffective and Kong twists her hand and then steps on it.

Kong continued to dominate the match with her strength. She goes for the Implant Buster, but Brooke fights her way out with forearms. She gets a drop toehold on Kong and goes for a submission. Brooke hits a facebuster but fails to secure a three-count.

Brooke goes for a back suplex, but Kong’s weight was too great. Kong took advantage and connected with a chokeslam for the three count. Brooke has been eliminated from the world title series while Kong has advanced to the Round of 16.

Matt Hardy and EC3 are interviewed via satellite. Matt says he led the pack in Group Tag Team Specialists, and he calls the group the most athletic and technically sound of the world title series. He says it’s his time to prove he’s deserving of being the TNA world champion.

EC3 says he’s disgusted that he has to share a screen with Matt. He says if Matt is a true world champion, he would’ve been in Group Champions. He says he’s a winner and getting out of his group proved that.

The interview ends with both men heated. EC3 leaves and tells Matt, “see you never.” We cut to Eric Young, who promises that James Storm will get hurt if he shows up for their match tonight.

The two fight on the entrance ramp and Manik hits a suplex. Back in the ring, Manik hits a back elbow and follows it up with punches to the head. Uno gains some steam with chops, but Manik rakes his eyes and locks in an illegal submission hold by fish hooking his opponent.

Manik goes high risk but is dropkicked off the top turnbuckle. Uno hits the split legged corkscrew moonsault for the win.
