There are only nine spots left in the Round of 16 in the World Title Series. The first match is the sudden death triple threat X Division matchup. Two men advance while one goes home.

Triple Threat Sudden Death Match: Tigre Uno vs. DJ Z vs. Manik

Uno goes for a dropkick on Manik, but is pushed to the side. Uno and Z leap over Manik’s baseball slide. With Z seated on the ring apron, Uno dropkicks him to the outside. Uno hits a moonsault on Z and Manik on the outside.

Back in the ring, Z hits a springboard back elbow on Manik. Manik gets back up and has Uno in a Gory Bomb position, but with Uno on his back he locks in a submission on Z. Uno and Manik try to hit Z with a springboard attack, but they collide midair. Z lands a Tornado DDT on both men. He pins Manik and has advanced to the Round of 16.

Winner Pinfall #1: DJ Z

Uno goes up the top turnbuckle, but Manik hits him in the back. He goes for an electric chair drop, but Uno reverses it into a German Suplex that sends his opponent to the corner. Uno then nails Manik with a corkscrew moonsault for the win. He joins Z in the Round of 16.

Winner Pinfall #2: Tigre Uno

Drew Galloway says the nature of the wrestling business is filled with highs and lows. He says the key to succeeding is to keep pushing and not giving up. He calls his dream partner the world heavyweight title.

Singles Match: Drew Galloway vs. Rockstar Spud

Galloway and Spud shake hands before the match begins. Galloway cuts off the ring in the early going. Spud connects with a right hand in the corner and it gets his opponent’s attention. Spud begins to frustrate Galloway with his speed and lands a combination in the corner. Galloway has had enough and chops Spud in the chest.

With Galloway on the outside, Spud jumps off the ring apron and hits a forearm. Galloway responds by ramming his opponent’s back on the ring apron. Galloway charges at Spud, but crashes headfirst into the steps.

Spud goes up the top turnbuckle and connects with a DDT. Galloway catches Spud and plants him to the mat. He hits the Claymore and secures a three-count to advance to the Round of 16.

Winner: Drew Galloway

Singles Match: Bram vs. Grado

Bram isn’t amused by Grado’s dancing. The bell rings and Bram pins Grado right away with a schoolboy. Bram advances to the Round of 16.

Winner: Bram

A video hyping Austin Aries vs. Lashley plays.

Singles Match: Micah vs. Jessie Godderz

Micah lands a double underhook suplex. Micah hits Godderz with a double ax handle from the ring apron. Back in the ring, Godderz connects with a backbreaker. He locks in a bearhug, but Micah elbows his way out of it.

Micah hits a splash in the corner. He follows it up with an over-the-shoulder facebuster and goes for a pin, but Godderz reaches the bottom rope. Godderz attacks the body of his opponent, but is planted by a Samoan Drop. Micah misses a headbutt from the top rope and Godderz forces the tap with the Adonis Crab. He is now in the Round of 16.

Winner: Jessie Godderz

-Commercial Break-

A video package highlighting Group Tag Team Specialists airs. We cut to Kurt Angle hyping up his retirement tour. He says his career is coming to an end and talks with numerous people in the UK about returning in January.

Singles Match: Robbie E vs. Davey Richards

The two shake hands and exchange wrist holds once the bell rings. The two actually cancel each other out and Richards looks surprised. Robbie then gets the better of his opponent and has an arm lock for a bit. Richards stops the momentum with a dropkick.

On the outside, Robbie lands a senton from the ring apron. Richards lands a headbutt inside the ring, but Robbie takes him down with a jumping lariat. Richards gets his shoulder up at the count of two. Robbie hits the Boom Drop, but Richards kicks out. Richards misses his double foot stomp, but hits Creeping Death for the victory and now advances to the Round of 16.

Winner: Davey Richards

-Commercial Break-

Singles Match: Kenny King vs. Crazzy Steve

The two tie up and King sends his opponent overhead. Steve returns the favor and mocks King’s dance. King gets a drop toehold, but Steve gets one of his own. King connects with a wheel kick followed by a scoop slam.

Steve hits a springboard hurricanrana. He gets a sunset flip, but King kicks out. King avoids a loss by kicking out of a crucifix pin. King plants Steve with the Royal Flush to move on to the Round of 16.

Winner: Kenny King

Aries is with Thea backstage. He gives Lashley props by saying he’s one of the toughest guys he’s been in the ring with and says he actually has a brain and uses it. He says Lashley will have to be more than perfect to beat him.

Singles Match: Austin Aries vs. Lashley

Lashley uses his strength early with a takedown. He shoulder blocks Aries, who takes a breather. Aries tries to get back to his technical and speed advantage. He hammers away at his opponent in the corner. Aries goes high risk and hits a missile dropkick, but Lashley is unfazed and hits a clothesline.

Lashley goes for a vertical delayed suplex and hits it despite numerous knees to the head from Aries. Lashley gets in a chinlock.

-Commercial Break-

Aries goes for a discus elbow, but Lashley counters with an overhead belly to belly suplex. He goes for the Spear, but runs into the post. Aries takes advantage with multiple punches to the head. He goes up the top turnbuckle and drops Lashley with a missile dropkick.

Aries is thinking Brainbuster and hits multiple knees to the head. Lashley lifts Aries for a press slam, but Aries gets out of it and lands the discus elbow. Aries goes for the Brainbuster again and this time Lashley reverses into a huge German suplex. Aries looks for a suicide dive, but faceplants.

Lashley’s spear attempt is stuffed and Aries locks up Last Chancery with 60 seconds to go. Lashley makes it to the bottom rope. Aries goes high risk and misses the 450 splash. Lashley nails the Spear for the win and he moves on to the Round of 16.

Winner: Lashley

A video airs of the competitors talking about their matches in the Round of 16. EC3 laughs at facing Z. Z says he likes to walk around with three 100 pound women, while EC3 walks around with a 300 pound man. Richards gives Bram props for being bigger and violent, but says he and the Wolves Nation will take him out. Eli Drake says he’s going straight to the top, while Eric Young claims to be God.

Godderz says Kong has nothing for him and he will advance. Roode gives Matt respect, but says he won’t stand in his way. Matt says he will not stop until he is the last man standing in the World Title Series.
