Impact Wrestling Results For September 30th, 2015: EC3 & Tyrus vs. Galloway & Matt Hardy

The show opens up with EC3. He brags about beating Rockstar Spud last week, but he’s still not happy. He says he’s not in a good mood due to Jeff Hardy leaving him as personal assistant, or as EC3 puts it, “getting the boot.” He’s also stewing over more people talking about Drew Galloway than him heading into Bound for Glory. He calls out Dixie Carter and she heads to the ring. Dixie says in the ring EC3 has been a great champion, but outside of it he’s been an embarrassment. EC3 says Drew Galloway could never beat him.

Galloway is out and he tells EC3 to shut his bloody mouth and calls him a “self-entitled little bitch.” He says he’s an animal who will tear EC3 apart. The segment ends in a heated staredown.

James Storm is in the back and blames Mahabali Shera for tearing down his Revolution. He calls himself a legend in TNA and says he will cut down Shera tonight.

-Commercial Break-

EC3 approaches Dixie and still gets on her for focusing on Galloway. He says he may end Galloway’s career at Bound for Glory. A video package then plays hyping up Storm vs. Shera in a no DQ match.

No DQ Singles Match: Mahabali Shera vs. James Storm

The two brawl on the outside to get things going right away. They got back in the ring, and Shera had the upper hand, but Storm nailed him with a low blow. Storm sat two chairs down looking to launch Shera onto them from the top turnbuckle, and he succeeded. Shera kicks out at two.

Storm brought a table into the ring. He spat beer in referee Earl Hebner’s face by accident and Shera nailed him with a spear. Shera pinned, but Hebner couldn’t see a thing. Storm clocked Shera with a cowbell and planted him through the table. Shera was able to get the shoulder up at two.

Storm broke part of his beer bottle, but Abyss and Manik came out. Abyss hits the Black Hole Slam, followed by a frog splash. Shera took advantage and hit the Sky High for the victory.

Winner: Mahabali Shera

We cut to Bobby Roode who says holding the King of the Mountain title is very important to him. He says he’ll talk about its meaning more after the break.

-Commercial Break-

Dixie is asked in the back about the turmoil between her and her nephew EC3. She says tonight’s main event will be Matt Hardy and Drew Galloway vs. EC3 and Tyrus. If Matt and Galloway win, Matt will be added to the world title match at Bound for Glory. She promises a “bonus” for the pay-per-view by the end of the night.

Roode makes his way out. He mentions his accolades and says he is proud to stand before the fans as King of the Mountain champion. To him, the title represents the passion, dedication, and love for professional wrestling. He reveals he will put his title on the line at Bound for Glory in an open challenge.

Lashley makes his way to the ring. He extends his hand to Roode and the champion gladly shakes Lashley’s hand. Lashley says he came to TNA to collect as many titles as he can. He asks Roode for one more match at Bound for Glory for the championship. Roode accepts, and they shake hands once more.

Taryn Terrell has a talk with The Dollhouse. She says it’s time to get rid of Velvet Sky once and for all.

-Commercial Break-

Triple Threat Match: DJ Z vs. Tommaso Ciampa vs. Trevor Lee

Ciampa immediately goes after Lee. Ciampa suplexes Lee on the ring apron then gets hit by a plancha from Lee. Ciampa nails Lee in the corner with multiple knees. DJ Z lands a tornado DDT on both Ciampa and Lee. Ciampa hits Project Ciampa on Lee, but DJ Z breaks up the pin. Lee hits his spinning crossbody on DJ Z for the win.

Winner: Trevor Lee

The Beautiful People are interviewed in the back by Jeremy Borash. Angelina Love says The Beautiful People reformed for the greater good of the Knockouts division. She says Jade has pissed her off for injuring her shoulder. Velvet Sky says Taryn Terrell is all bark and no bite.

-Commercial Break-

EC3 says Dixie’s stipulation for tonight’s main event is a load of BS. He calls Dixie’s decision questionable.

Knockouts Handicap Tag Team Match: The Dollhouse vs. Velvet Sky & Madison Rayne

They all go at it before the bell rings. Sky nails Marti Bell with a clothesline, but only gets a two count. Madison Rayne ducks a clothesline from Jade and chops her down. Sky is in and hits a neck breaker on Jade, but fails to secure a three-count. Later on, Rebel throws powder in Rayne’s eyes, allowing Marti to get a pinfall.

Winners: The Dollhouse

Eric Young is in the back and is going nuts. He says he is not afraid of anybody.

-Commercial Break-

A video promo airs with Gail Kim talking about her past matches with Awesome Kong. She says her match with Kong at Bound for Glory will prove who is the very best Knockouts champion ever.

In the ring, EY complains about interference in his match last week with Chris Melendez. He says he’s not scared of anybody and calls himself God. Robbie E interrupts EY and tells him to shut the hell up. Robbie goes after EY and starts stomping on him until he gets nailed with a low blow.

Chris Melendez comes out and takes down EY and lands multiple elbows. EY is able to take him down and missed a chair shot. Melendez grabs the chair, but EY slips out of the ring. Mr. Anderson then comes out and plays around with EY calling himself God. Anderson starts punching EY and throws him in the ring. Everyone hits their finisher on EY until he tumbles to the outside.

Matt Hardy and Drew Galloway talk about their tag team match tonight and the Bound for Glory implications. Galloway says he loves it, and he says tonight they will get the job done together. He says he will be the best man at the pay-per-view. They shake hands at the end of the segment.

-Commercial Break-

EY is in the back with Dixie, and he’s upset at the TNA roster attacking him. He tells Dixie to do something about it. Dixie reveals EY will face Kurt Angle at Bound for Glory.

A Bound for Glory hype video is aired followed by EC3 and Tyrus’ entrance.

-Commercial Break-

Tag Team Match: EC3 & Tyrus vs. Drew Galloway & Matt Hardy

EC3 and Galloway engage in a staredown and, of course, the champion tags in Tyrus before anything happens. Galloway and Matt punch and stomp on Tyrus in the corner. Eventually EC3 tags back in, but Hardy lands a bulldog from the corner. He goes for the Twist of Fate but is pushed to the ropes and punched by Tyrus.

Tyrus tags in and he chokes Matt. EC3 is back in and lands the splash in the corner. Matt continues getting roughed up leading to the break.

-Commercial Break-

Matt eventually counters a clothesline with a Side Effect. Matt tags in Galloway, who lands rabid, punches to EC3 in the corner. Galloway goes up the top turnbuckle and lands an elbow to the jaw of EC3. With Tyrus alone in the ring, Matt lands the Twist of Fate and Galloway hits the Running Boot for the win.

Winners: Drew Galloway & Matt Hardy

Dixie Carter comes out and announces that EC3 vs. Drew Galloway vs. Matt Hardy for the world title will have a special guest, referee. It’s Jeff Hardy.
