Welcome. This is a wrestling TV guide sharing up-to-date (as of September 2019) schedules for over 30 wrestling promotions from around the world. Where possible, I have listed days, start times and channels for shows with TV deals in America, Canada, United Kingdom and Mexico.

Synopsis: WWE’s longest running flagship program has been a mainstay on television for over 26 years. With Seth Rollins as the Universal Champion and Becky Lynch as Women’s Champion, they lead the way in promoting the brand. The main producers are Vince McMahon, Paul Heyman and Kevin Dunn.

Synopsis: Since its debut in 1999, SmackDown Live has been one of WWE’s flagship shows. After signing a new deal with FOX TV, the brands name reverts back to Friday Night SmackDown. Kofi Kingston is the current WWE Champion after winning the title at WrestleMania, although Brock Lesnar’s arrival could change the landscape of the blue brand. The main producers are Vince McMahon, Eric Bischoff and Kevin Dunn.

Synopsis: With the tagline “We are NXT!”, the show promotes togetherness, quality wrestling and compelling storylines; which are often cited as superior to WWE’s main roster.
Going head-to-head with the new wrestling show AEW Dynamite every Wednesday night, fans will get to enjoy the first TV war between two rival promotions since WCW closed its doors in 2001. Some of their biggest stars include: Johnny Gargano, Tommaso Ciampa, Adam Cole (& The Undisputed Era), Finn Balor, Velveteen Dream, Shayna Baszler, Pete Dunne, Matt Riddle, Keith Lee and Io Shirai.
WWE NXT UK ~ 1 Hour
How to watch WWE NXT UK?
Thursday 3pm EST / 8pm GMT on the WWE Network
Synopsis: With a growing UK independent scene, WWE formed a UK branch of NXT over one year ago. WWE held a UK Championship tournament, which was eventually won by Tyler Bate in a tournament final. Later, Pete Dunne became the champion and held it for almost two years before losing to the current champion Walter. (pictured below with Imperium)
The General Manager is Johnny Saint, a British Wrestling legend who became famous as the World Lightweight Champion. Some of NXT UK’s biggest stars include: Tyler Bate, Trent Seven, Walter (w/ Imperium), Toni Storm, Noam Dar, Kassius Ohno, The Coffey Brothers & Wolfgang (Gallus), Zack Gibson and Jordan Devlin. We’ve also seen rare main roster crossovers from Finn Balor and Cesaro.

Synopsis: 205 Live was created to feature a thriving NXT Cruiserweight division every week on one show. As of this writing, the General Manager is Drake Maverick. Although 205 Live has occasionally featured some NXT crossovers (KUSHIDA for example), the more recurring superstars are: Lio Rush, The Brian Kendrick, Gentleman Jack Gallagher, Akira Tozawa, Ariya Daivari and Tony Nese.

Synopsis: Main Event is a show featuring WWE superstars we rarely see on Raw. To give some examples of superstars who have appeared on Main Event in 2019: Cedric Alexander, Curt Hawkins, EC3, Eric Young, Mojo Rawley, No Way Jose, Titus O’ Neil, Zack Ryder, Dana Brooke, Naomi and Sarah Logan.

Synopsis: The first wrestling program to air on TNT since WCW closed up in 2001. When it debuts, Dynamite will go head-to-head with WWE’s NXT brand. The promotion is young and hungry to write its name in to the history books. Some of AEW’s stars include: World Champion Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, Jon Moxley, Cody & Dustin Rhodes, The Young Bucks, The Lucha Brothers, Pac, MJF, Britt Baker, Awesome Kong, Shawn Spears and Christopher Daniels.
*It was originally reported Dynamite would air live, but this changed to a tape delay at the following days and times: Thursday 7pm, Friday 11:20pm, and Sunday 8:20am.
Impact Wrestling ~ 2 Hours

Synopsis: Impact Wrestling has been rebuilding since Anthem Sports bought the company from Dixie Carter several years ago. Since moving its base to Canada, the past few years has shown encouraging signs.
With a rich history from its TNA days, they offer matches from the likes of AJ Styles, Sting, Kurt Angle, Samoa Joe, Hulk Hogan, and more via the Impact Plus app. Some of their current stars include: Brian Cage, Tessa Blanchard, Sami Callihan, Rob Van Dam, Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, Sabu, Ken Shamrock, Moose, Rosemary, Eddie Edwards, Michael Elgin, Rich Swann, Taya Valkyrie and Tenille Dashwood.
Ring Of Honor (ROH) ~ 1 Hour

Synopsis: With a code of honor, wrestlers are expected to show respect before and after matches. This code extends to no interference, no attacking referees, or anything which would be seen as dishonorable. Many big names got noticed through their work in ROH: a few of these include Daniel Bryan, CM Punk, Samoa Joe, Seth Rollins, Adam Cole, Nigel McGuinness, Kevin Owens, Cesaro, Austin Aries, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly.
As a long-time partner to New Japan Pro Wrestling and others like SHIMMER, ROH are always open to talent exchange. ROH & NJPW’s biggest supercard so far was selling out Madison Square Garden on WrestleMania weekend. Some of the biggest names currently signed to ROH include: Jay Lethal, Matt Taven, Bully Ray, The Briscoe Brothers, Marty Scurll, Zack Sabre Jr and Dalton Castle.
New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) ~ 1 Hour
How to watch NJPW?*
Til further details are provided, New Japan’s content can be found through their on demand subscription service New Japan World. Unlike other JP websites, you can conveniently switch to “English” mode by clicking the English button in the top right corner. The service costs 999 Yen ($9.29) per month.
Synopsis: New Japan is the biggest promotion in Japan, and arguably the second biggest in the world. With its rich history, they have previously collaborated with the NWA, WCW, WWE and TNA. In the past five years, it has expanded its viewing audience to America and other English speaking countries. Working with Ring of Honor, they have used the platform to showcase its wrestlers to a broader audience. To date, some of New Japan’s biggest stars include: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada, Tetsuya Naito, Kota Ibushi, Minoru Suzuki, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley, Jay White, Will Ospreay and Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger.
*The show airs weekly on AXS TV on Fridays or Saturdays, but its schedule has been put in to doubt after Anthem Sports purchased AXS.
Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide ~ 2 Hours
How to watch Lucha Libre AAA?
In Mexico it can be seen on Azteca TV. For the rest of the world, signing up to Twitch allows you to see all their latest shows. Weekly episodes are uploaded to YouTube 2-3 weeks later (after taping) every Saturday. AXS recently announced they would air PPV specials like AAA: Lucha Invades NY
Synopsis: Founded in 1992, it was created to be an alternative to CMLL. Unlike its rival, AAA has expanded due its working relationships with WWE, Impact Wrestling, MLW and AEW. This year, while their biggest event Triplemania was dubbed a considerable success (several AEW stars featured), their following event Lucha Invades NY suffered from poor ticket sales. The biggest stars in their recent history: Blue Demon Jr, Dr. Wagner Jr, Pentagon Jr, Fenix, La Parka, Texano Jr, Psycho Clown, Drago, Faby Apache, Taya Valkyrie, Pagano, Laredo Kid, Jack Evans, Aero Star and Chessman.
Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) ~ 2 Hours+
How to watch CMLL?
CMLL airs everything exclusively on YouTube. Most episodes occur live on Mondays or Tuesdays, although Fridays are also possible. They also produce four big PPV events per year.
Synopsis: Being founded in 1933 makes it the oldest professional wrestling promotion in the world. It is sometimes called “The serious and the stable”, due to its conservative approach to booking, along with its rare use of blood or anything hardcore.
CMLL has benefited from some cross-promotion with companies like TNA and New Japan. They became the first promotion since WWE to draw a $1 million gate at their 81st Anniversary Show. Some of its more popular wrestlers include: Último Guerrero, Marcela, Atlantis, Volador Jr, Rey Bucanero, Mephisto, Dragón Rojo Jr, Carístico (fka the original Sin Cara), Mistico and El Terrible.
National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) ~ 1 Hour
How to watch NWA Powerrr?
NWA Powerrr made its debut in 2019, and can be found every week on the NWA YouTube channel every Wednesday Night.
Synopsis: In 2017, Smashing Pumpkins lead singer Billy Corgan purchased the NWA and looks set to revive the once dominant governing body. NWA Powerrr takes us back in time to an era of class and prestige. Some if its current stars include: Nick Aldis, Women’s Champion Allysin Kay (Sienna), James Storm, Aron Stevens (Damien Sandow), Mr. Anderson, Colt Cabana, Trevor Murdoch, Tim Storm, Eli Drake, Jim Cornette and many more.
Ohio Valley Wrestling (OVW) ~ 2 Hours+
How to watch OVW?
For $4.99 a month, you get all the latest shows available on demand via the OVW Wrestling Network. They release some episodes for free on YouTube, but not all. Also, it was reported they were airing weekly on the WBNA 21 channel on Wednesdays til October; when it would switch to Tuesdays. Despite this, the show is listed to air on Saturdays at 9pm on the WBNA website.
Synopsis: Originally part of the NWA, it became WWE’s developmental territory in 1999. The relationship flourished for nine years as they developed future stars like (taken from the website) “John Cena, Randy Orton, Brock Lesnar, CM Punk, Mickie James, Mr. Anderson, Matt Morgan, TNA Knock Outs ODB & Tara just to name a few!”.
After cutting ties with WWE, they went on to develop talent for ROH and TNA. In 2018, Al Snow purchased OVW and took steps to expand it. He merged the company with a boxing promotion to form the Gladiator Sports Network. Some of its roster includes: Rhino, Tommy Dreamer, Crimson, Jay Bradley, Crazzy Steve, Jax Dane, and many unknowns.
EVOLVE, Shine, Dragon Gate USA, Full Impact Pro
How to watch EVOLVE, Shine, Dragon Gate USA, Full Impact Pro?
All these brands and more are tied to the World Wrestling Network (WWN); which asks for a $9.99 monthly subscription. EVOLVE recently aired their 10th Anniversary show on the WWE Network.
Synopsis: WWN is the governing body presiding over the brands. Gabe Sapolsky (Paul Heyman’s former right hand man, and ROH co-founder) leads the way, as he co-founded EVOLVE and continues working for them, Dragon Gate USA and Style Battle. Some of EVOLVE’s former champions include some familiar names: Chris Hero (Kassius Ohno), Drew McIntyre, Zack Sabre Jr, Matt Riddle, Shane Strickland (Isaiah Scott) and Fabian Aichner. WWE recently signed current EVOLVE and WWN Champion Austin Theory to the NXT brand.
Shine Wrestling was created seven years ago to be a sister promotion to SHIMMER. Some of its roster includes: Allysin Kay, Ivelisse, Priscilla Kelly, LuFisto, Mercedez Martinez and Shotzi Blackheart.
Major League Wrestling (MLW) ~ 1 hour

Synopsis: After forming in 2002, Major League Wrestling closed its doors in 2004 due to lack of sponsorship money. Over thirteen years later, founder and CEO Court Bauer (former WWE writer) revived MLW as a wrestling promotion. Less than a year later, they negotiated a TV deal and it continues expanding its operation.
Along with Tony Schiavone on commentary, some of its tightly contracted wrestlers include: Low Ki, La Parka, MJF, Davey Boy Smith Jr, Brian Pillman Jr, Teddy Hart, Austin Aries, Kenn Doane (Kenny in WWE), Mike Mondo (Mikey in WWE), Simon Gotch and Jacob Fatu.
Pro Wrestling Guerilla (PWG) & Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW)
How to watch PWG?
PWG releases DVDs which become available for digital download over three months later. You can purchase DVDs from their website or download old shows on highspots.com. There’s also a subscription service for the Highspots Wrestling Network, which costs $9.99 for the monthly subscription. This also includes other promotions like CZW, NEW, PWX, WSU, $5 Wrestling & more.
Synopsis: For years, PWG has enjoyed great success booking the hottest independent wrestling stars. In its first year alone, it brought in wrestlers like A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, Homicide, Chris Hero, Brian Kendrick and Colt Cabana. In later years, it made great use of Kevin Steen (Owens), El Generico (Sami Zayn), Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. They have continued producing shows, although doing so quietly with minimal updates to its website & forum.
Progress, Smash, AAW Pro, DEFY
How to watch Progress, Smash and others?
You can watch shows from these promotions (and more) by subscribing monthly to Demand Progress for $7.99. Much like EVOLVE, Progress has a working relationship with WWE and has featured many British wrestlers like Tyler Bate, Pete Dunne, Trent Seven, WALTER and more.
Synopsis: Progress is a British promotion with a reliable history of featuring strong-style wrestling. Over the last few years, it has formed a growing relationship with WWE. Due to Progress losing many of its best talents to WWE’s UK division, WWE returns the favor by allowing extra dates for some of the NXT and NXT UK superstars to work for them.
Eddie Dennis, Jordan Devlin and Meiko Satomura are currently holding Progress Championships. Former title holders include: Pete Dunne, WALTER, Tyler Bate, Toni Storm, Marty Scurll, Will Ospreay, Trent Seven, Doug Williams, Matt Riddle, Jimmy Havoc, Grizzled Young Veterans, Jordynne Grace and more.
Smash Wrestling is a promotion based in Canada which provides a blend of entertainment with good family values. The show is featured on Canadian TV: Friday 8pm EST on The Fight Network
AAW Pro is based in Berwyn, Illinois and its current champions include Impact Wrestling stars Sami Callihan, Cousin Jake and Jessicka Havok. DEFY wrestling is based in Seattle, Washington and has good ties with Darby Allin, Joey Janela, Jushin Liger, The Lucha Brothers, Matt Sydal, CIMA, Killer Kross, Super Crazy and others.
CHIKARA
How to watch CHIKARA?
CHIKARA asks for a $7.99 monthly subscription to CHIKARAtopia for shows you can watch any time on computer, mobile, Roku, Apple TV and Chromecast devices. As far as I know, no other promotions are included with this deal.
Synopsis: CHIKARA is an American promotion led by Mike Quackenbush, and is heavily influenced by Lucha Libre. Because of this, many wrestlers wear masks and use unique gimmicks. The wrestlers are split in to either a “Technico” (face) or a “Rudo” (heel). Also, they often animate the wrestlers in cartoon form. While many familiar names are listed as alumni, CHIKARA tends to look to the future. In August, it was announced they began a working relationship with Michinoko Pro Wrestling.
SHIMMER Women’s Athletes
How to watch SHIMMER?
SHIMMER is an all women’s independent promotion with a streaming service charging $9.99 per month through StreamSHIMMER.
Synopsis: In 2005, Dave Prazak teamed with Allison Danger to start a women’s wrestling promotion which would allow women to showcase their skills without being objectified. For a long time it was known that SHIMMER and ROH worked closely together; to the point ROH recognizes SHIMMER’s champions in its official history. Some of the most well-known champions include: Madison Eagles, MsChif, Cheerleader Melissa, Saraya Knight, Mercedes Martinez, Tessa Blanchard, Heidi Lovelace (Ruby Riott), Cherry Bomb (Allie) and Ayako Hamada.
World Wonder Ring Stardom
How to watch Stardom?
Stardom is known as one of the best all women’s promotions in the world. While it’s based in Japan, the company does try to make it friendly for English speakers. Getting signed up isn’t as simple as others though, due to them only having a Japanese website.
If you would like to subscribe? Google “World Wonder Ring Stardom” and find their link in the search results. Click on “Translate this page” and the site will load with a rough English translation. STARDOM Wrestling Beginner Guide (How To Watch Stardom)
Synopsis: With Asuka paving the way for joshi wrestlers in the United States, WWE looked to Stardom to introduce more. Enter Kairi Sane and Io Shirai, who spent much of their 6-7 year careers winning a multitude of Stardom championships. It was tough on the company to lose them, but they moved on and found new talents in: Riho, Mayu Iwatani, Bea Priestley, Kagetsu and others. Alundra Blayze AKA Madusa has been their commissioner since September 2015.
All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW)
How to watch AJPW?
Like Stardom, you will want to google “AJPW TV” and translate the website to find the link to subscribe. Unlike Stardom though, All Japan does not cater to English speakers. The on demand service costs 900 Yen ($8.36) a month.
Synopsis: All Japan has a long, convoluted history with ties to New Japan and Pro Wrestling Noah, and its greatest success was under Giant Baba’s rule from 1972-1999. It’s also known for contributing to the legends of Mitsuharu Misawa, Kenta Kobashi, Stan Hansen, Terry Gordy and Dr. Death Steve Williams. All Japan is still running regular shows, although it’s not on the level of New Japan. They focus mainly on new talent, although it does have some legends in Último Dragón and Tajiri.
Dragon Gate
How to watch Dragon Gate?
While Dragon Gate does have an English Twitter account, signing up to the on demand service isn’t as easy as others. You may need some assistance if you want to subscribe (translating their website https://dragongate.live/ doesn’t make it any easier). While the pricing is steeper than other options, they promise more shows if you go for the full deal.
It has a two tier subscription, with the cheapest giving you access to the video library, while the expensive option gives you everything. The difference in pricing tiers is 1000 ($9.29) and 1500 Yen ($13.93).
Synopsis: Much of Dragon Gate’s wrestlers are students of Último Dragón’s Toryumon Gym. It does pull talent in from elsewhere, like Pac (fka Neville) who held the Open the Dream Gate Championship for much of 2019. The show is based on a junior heavyweight style with varying emphasis on high-flying, technical grappling and submissions. Those who graduate from the dojo become known as “Dragon Gate Trueborn”; a list which includes WWE’s Akira Tozawa and New Japan’s Shingo Takagi.
World Of Sport (WOS) ~ 1 Hour per show, TBA
How to watch World Of Sport?
The revived British promotion showed promise in 2018, airing taped episodes weekly in the UK every Saturday on ITV. After airing its first season between July and September, WOS went on tour in January/February 2019. While the Twitter account remains active, we’re still awaiting details for season 2. Despite being made available in the United States on Stadium and Fite TV at some point, this no longer seems to be the case.
Synopsis: World Of Sport remembers its rich history while moving forward with a traditional family friendly product. The first season was well-produced and featured Stu Bennett (fka Wade Barrett) as the storyline WOS executive. SoCal Val, Alex Shane and Bennet provided commentary for season 1. The biggest stars of WOS include: Justin Sysum, Rampage, British Bulldog Jr, Will Ospreay, Robbie X, Grado, Joe Hendry and Crater.
Revolution Pro Wrestling (RevPro)
How to watch RevPro?
The only way to see full RevPro shows is to sign up to a subscription for RPW On Demand for $8.49 a month.
Synopsis: RevPro provides a platform for independent wrestling stars in the UK. In the past, it has had the luxury of working with many current WWE performers: AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Apollo Crews, Finn Bálor, Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Kalisto, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura, Killian Dain, Noam Dar, Tommaso Ciampa, and Adam Cole. It also has a training school producing four trainee level shows a year. RevPro’s current champions are Zack Sabre Jr and El Phantasmo (AKA King Cuerno).
Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW)
How to watch ICW?
ICW also provides a streaming service, aptly named ICW On Demand. You know what’s impressive? It comes at the lowly priced $6.99 a month.
Synopsis: Since 2006, ICW has catered to a mature (18+) Scottish audience with traditional wrestling blended with a hardcore style. In 2012 and 2014, it was featured in documentaries for magazines & TV, and was named “UK Promotion Of The Year” four times. While ICW is primarily based in Glasgow, they do tour the UK occasionally. Last year, Drew McIntyre was inducted in to their Hall Of Fame..
House Of Hardcore
How to watch House Of Hardcore?
Wednesday/Thursday 10pm EST/3pm GMT on Twitch
When cross promoting specials with Impact Wrestling, you may find these shows streamed via Impact’s Twitch. After signing up to the HOH Twitch channel, streaming shows is completely FREE! Although you will get ads, and the only way to get rid of them is to sign up to one of the three monthly subscriptions ($4.99/$9.99/$24.99)
Synopsis: “No Politics, No BS, Just Wrestling”. With Tommy Dreamer leading the way, it’s no wonder why House of Hardcore has done so well. With Tommy’s reputation in the business, so many wrestlers old & new are happy to work shows. In 2014, the promotion was featured on TV in an episode of Impractical Jokers: when Q was punished by dressing up as Peter Pan and had to wrestle Tommy Dreamer. HOH continues running regular shows with only one active championship, currently held by Willie Mack since April 2018.
