Becky Lynch challenges Sasha Banks for the NXT Women’s Championship tonight’s at NXT Takeover: Unstoppable event and spoke with WWE.com about how she got in wrestling.
“If you can believe it, I had no intentions of being a wrestler,” Lynch said. “There were no wrestling schools in Ireland,” she explained. “It was completely unheard of.”
When she asked how good she was at first, Lynch said that she was bad.
“I was absolutely, diabolically bad,” she chuckled. “But I loved it more than anything.”
Before she got into wrestling, what did she think she would be doing as a career?
“I didn’t think [wrestling] was what I was going to do,” she explained. “I was going to be a lawyer.”
