MANGO: Banks wins the title and we don’t get an immediate split, but the following SmackDown or a few weeks later, we probably do. I think it will depend on whether or not WWE can film going forward and if they’d rather leave everyone with a cliffhanger or hold off on the breakup.
MITCHELL: The fact this is a Fatal 5 Way Elimination (btw poor Dana), it can have Sasha win without her betraying Bayley. Let Lacey eliminate Bayley then Sasha eliminates Lacey and win. Then we can test how the friendship goes on the build to SummerSlam.
ABSLER: I can see Sasha Banks winning the title from Bayley and reigniting their legendary feud. The rivalry between Sasha and Bayley is a classic and the matches they have had in the past show how good their chemistry is. Sasha is the most likely contender in the Six Pack challenge to win the title, and it would add a new layer to the saga of Sasha and Bayley.
JAY: I think they start as friends and clobber Lacey Evans. Then Banks turns on her. Then they reunite to kick the stuffing out of Tamina. Then Bayley turns on Sasha, allowing Naomi to get a double roll up and dance out the new champion. Then the camera flashes to a grinning Big Show watching from the back. He turns to the camera and says “This is some good shit.”
STAPLE: I think they may milk it out a little linger and save a singles match between them for Summerslam. We’ve seen the obvious teases, but having Sasha turn and winning the title would be too easy.
COOK: No. Bayley & Sasha need to be best friends forever & ever. We’ve seen them try not to be friends. It doesn’t work, at least not on WWE main roster television. Why does everybody want to see every friendship ever break up? Can’t two people just be friends for a long time without any drama? I wish Bayley & Sasha nothing but the best, and y’all wanting them to break up can kiss my grits.
SCAFIDE: Just a tease. I can’t see another breakup again between those two. I say keep it together a little or while longer.
