Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

Last night was the WWE Elimination Chamber premium live event, which means we’re in for another round of Highs and Lows, where you tell us what you liked the best and what you hated the most.

My question for you today is “What were your most favorite and least favorite parts about WWE Elimination Chamber 2025?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

This is one of the easiest editions to write up, as I doubt anyone’s highlight isn’t John Cena’s heel turn. That’s going to go down in wrestling history as a monumental moment, and we’re just in the very first initial incident of it. There’s no telling how crazy this story gets and how awesome a heel Cena run will be that we’re in store for.

I’ll admit, when I saw that they were ending the show with the promo, I was nervous that it was going to be a bust. The only way they could have pulled out a positive from me would have been a twist like this, and I’m VERY happy to see this wrinkle in the storyline. That’s going to save this feud between Cody Rhodes and John Cena, which I thought was going to be a bland babyface vs. babyface feud beforehand.

Shout out to Jade Cargill and Randy Orton returning, but they just don’t measure up in comparison, especially when it seems like Cargill vs. Naomi is going to happen at WrestleMania, and I don’t think that’s justified in taking up a spot on that card.

When it comes to the negative of the night for me, I’ll say that there’s a temptation to make it the tag team match, as that was the least important segment of the night. However, I’m going to say that it’s the potential setup for Damian Priest vs. Drew McIntyre that happened.

I saw this coming from a mile away, and I was worried about it. Priest pinning McIntyre and that being the entire purpose of their feud is just blah. Those two were already entangled from last year’s WrestleMania, and they didn’t have some massive thing that they’ve been building to in any regards. This, instead, feels like it’s a sign WWE had nothing in mind for either of them, and when rearranging the card around, they thought “let’s just pair those guys up again because it looks good on paper and we like them and don’t want them to get lost in the shuffle”, without realizing that they still need to do more than just take 2 names on a spreadsheet and put them side by side and say “good enough.”

Equally, I’m concerned there isn’t a plan for Sami Zayn to do something decent at WrestleMania, but that is still more up in the air. Priest and McIntyre seem relegated to a meaningless rehash of their feud to just slot somewhere into the undercard, and they both deserve better than that.
