Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
WWE Monday Night Raw is going to premiere tonight on Netflix, so it is being treated as almost a pay-per-view. This special episode is set to feature the return of Becky Lynch, we’ll see Logan Paul and John Cena, CM Punk will face Seth Rollins, Liv Morgan puts the Women’s World Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley, and Roman Reigns has a Tribal Combat match with Solo Sikoa to determine who is Tribal Chief.
My question for you today is “What are your predictions for this show?”

As far as my answer…
Logan Paul shouldn’t be a big factor, nor do I think John Cena will really do anything. They’ll declare themselves for the Royal Rumble and at most, cross paths with someone for a curt few words or so. For instance, I could see Cena talking down The New Day and telling them they’re terrible friends.
Becky Lynch’s return has me curious, because WWE opted to not go with the Last Woman Standing match they had previously announced for Morgan and Ripley. Changing that must have been for a reason, and I can’t help but to think that’s because they want to AGAIN have some sort of disqualification or other shenanigans that stretch this out even further, as if it hasn’t gone on for an entire year, basically. That has me changing my prediction. Originally, I thought Ripley would just beat Morgan and be done with it, but now, I’m thinking we’ll see The Judgment Day get involved, Becky will come out and attack Morgan, and it’ll end with Morgan winning the match by disqualification through unintended problems (which Ripley will then be able to say WTF about and have an issue with Lynch, who will be going after Morgan for their previous feud, possibly setting up Ripley vs Lynch in the future). WWE will either then do the Last Woman Standing match at Saturday Night’s Main Event or Royal Rumble and THEN, Ripley will finally win the belt back…maybe.
I’m leaning toward Punk to beat Rollins. Between the two of them, more momentum is on Punk’s side, and I could see a potential heel turn in the future for Rollins if he keeps up his complaining. That might happen if he loses this. If he doesn’t, I don’t know how this feud necessarily continues, as I don’t think Punk is going to be the one to flip out afterward for a loss. All in all, though, this is a 50/50 split. It could go either way.
I had thought Roman Reigns was going to beat Solo Sikoa up until more rumors came out that The Rock could be making an appearance, as well as the segment between Sikoa and Paul Heyman on this past Friday Night SmackDown. Now, I’m suspicious that all these little signs of Heyman possibly working with Sikoa/Rock could be true, and that “1-2-3” hand signal, combined with Heyman’s sartorial choices as of late, could be indicators that Sikoa is trusting him to hold the ula fala because he knows he’s in his back pocket.
As such, I’m expecting a scenario where it actually isn’t Reigns or Sikoa who is declared Tribal Chief at the end of this, but Sikoa wins the match and The Rock shows up, demands Solo give it to him, and he is dubbed the Tribal Chief and the mastermind behind it all, with Heyman also working with The New Bloodline going forward.
