Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!
While the lineup for AEW All In 2024 has yet to be 100% cemented in stone, and we know Tony Khan has a penchant for adding things to the Zero Hour on the day of, we also know not everyone can make it onto the show. It’s just impossible. Therefore, a good number of wrestlers will be sidelined, including some rather big names, as opposed to just the enhancement talent or lower-card performers.
My question for you today is “What do you consider to be the biggest omission from the current lineup for AEW All In 2024?”

As far as my answer…
Injuries notwithstanding, as those are obviously excusable, I’d say the most obvious person would be Kazuchika Okada. He had his match with Claudio Castagnoli on Dynamite, but since that ended in a draw and Castagnoli has been factored in to the card elsewhere (with PAC, mind you, another person who I had originally planned on being an answer here), it’s a curious decision to leave Okada off the card entirely.
I’d imagine he’ll probably still make an appearance to help The Young Bucks and/or Jack Perry retain their titles, but it’s odd that he’s not actually wrestling in a match. This is a company that prioritizes in-ring matches more than anything else, and he’s not only a big draw, but one of the featured talents with a major title. I get that there’s a philosophy to spread things out, put something on television, and to also keep a potential Castagnoli rematch out there for All Out since it’s just a few weeks away, but it’s so odd to see so many others find their way back onto the card, just for Okada to be singled out as one of the few notable exceptions.
I’m still surprised there’s no Jon Moxley, Konosuke Takeshita, and Kyle Fletcher, too, to toss out a few more names. Then again, Mox hasn’t wrestled since he dropped the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship back to Tetsuya Naito in June, so I guess that shouldn’t be too shocking, and Takeshita’s been off doing the G1 and wrestling strictly for New Japan for the past month. Fletcher, though? Odd.
Then again, who’s to say Moxley isn’t added to the Casino Gauntlet Match? Anyone can fill in one of those spots, to be honest, including even Okada. But I think there’s less of a chance Okada gets put there, as I don’t think he’ll be in a position to lose, nor do I think he’ll win it. If he was going to be in the match, they likely would have announced it in advance.
