Who Will Win At TNA Final Resolution 2024? | Question Of The Day

Welcome to another eWrestlingNews Question of the Day!

The last TNA Wrestling pay-per-view of the year is about to unfold tonight, starting at 8 p.m. ET, with TNA Final Resolution 2024. Before it kicks off with its pre-show at 7:30 p.m., let’s toss out our final predictions for who will win the scheduled matches.

My question for you today is “Who do you think will win at TNA Final Resolution 2024?”

Remember to answer with your response in the comments below.

As far as my answer…

Countdown: Leon Slater vs. JDC

Whenever it comes to TNA predictions, I always want to mention that I only have been checking out the pay-per-views as of late, and I don’t watch Impact. That severely hinders my ability to truly know what the hell is going on here. But even though this EWN QOTD is mostly for all of you to answer instead, I still like to flesh this out with my point of view, in case anyone is curious. Just don’t place your bets based on my predictions!

With that in mind, I guess JDC? He’s a more prominent character…right?

Countdown: Jonathan Gresham vs. Frankie Kazarian

Kazarian takes priority here if he’s supposed to be a looming threat to the world title with his Call Your Shot gauntlet win. Also, isn’t Gresham’s contract with TNA supposed to end around January? Could he be joining WWE, given how we all expect that’s where his wife, Jordynne Grace, will end up soon enough?

Jordynne Grace vs. Rosemary

Speaking of Grace, I see no real value in giving her this win over Rosemary when Rosemary is the one that’s going to stick around. A win for Rosemary, on the other hand, further establishes her as a threat to the Knockouts title.

Ace Austin vs. Trent Seven

I literally have no clue whatsoever what the context of this is. Literally no idea whatsoever. There’s no carryover from the last event, even though that JUST happened. Flip a coin.

TNA World Championship #1 Contender’s Four-Way Match: Joe Hendry vs. Josh Alexander vs. Mike Santana vs. Steve Maclin

Maybe I have my tin foil hat on a little too tight, but Joe Hendry did possibly tease that he would be in the Royal Rumble a few months back. Since he’s been kept strong enough, while away from Nic Nemeth, I could very well see this match being what puts him back in the title hunt. Then, he beats Nemeth for the title at some point in January (likely Genesis on January 19th), and carries that into the 2025 Royal Rumble on February 1st.

Tables Match for TNA World Tag Team Championship: The Hardys (Jeff Hardy & Matt Hardy) (c) vs. The System (Brian Myers & Eddie Edwards)

This feels like the type of thing that can change on a dime. But Myers did just fall victim to the turkey suit, and they do make a big deal out out of having The Hardys on the roster.

I’ll say the titles stay where they’re at and The Hardy Boyz retain.

TNA X-Division Championship: Moose (c) vs. KUSHIDA

I’m guessing Moose retains. Even though Kushida seems like a more than viable candidate for this title, giving the belt to Moose could have been their way of keeping him relevant without having him in the world title hunt. Then again, if my prediction about Hendry is correct, we could see Moose drop this belt, win a No. 1 contender’s match, and be Hendry’s opponent come March’s Sacrifice.

I’ll stick with Moose, as Kushida could also just be a viable contender

for the sake of giving him an opponent people might believe could beat him.

TNA Knockouts World Championship: Masha Slamovich (c) vs. Tasha Steelz

Slamovich just won the title. She’s not losing it. At least, that doesn’t make any sense to me.

TNA World Championship: Nic Nemeth (c) vs. A.J. Francis

It would be hilarious to me if Francis were to win this, but that feels like such a slight against Nemeth. In all likelihood, Francis is just a guy they slotted into this role because they said “We have to kill some time. Who can we have fight for the title?” and then, looked at the available roster, and figured he has enough heat to him for a one-off.

Nemeth retains and faces Hendry in January to run that back.
