WWE Crown Jewel 2024 takes place this afternoon (with the main card starting at 1pm ET, remember!) so we have just a little bit more time to get in our last-minute predictions for the matches announced to take place.
My question for you today is “Who do you think will win the matches currently scheduled for WWE Crown Jewel 2024?”

Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed
This one is tough. The fan in me that wants to see Reed succeed feels like he needs to win this, but my brain is telling me WWE isn’t going to want to go down that road. We know Reed was supposed to have a random title match against Rollins at Elimination Chamber earlier this year, which would have just been a one-off with Seth retaining. I’m assuming the same philosophy is going to be applied here, but in a tweak, in that they’ll think Rollins was taken out of action for so long that he needs to get the victory to offset that.
I think a lot of this depends on how much longer WWE wants this to continue and if Rollins is going to be the next in line to fight Gunther. There’s a very good chance he does get a title match at Survivor Series, but it isn’t a lock. That could go to CM Punk instead. There’s also December and January heading into Royal Rumble that factors in there, too, but I would rather Rollins and Punk both be in the Royal Rumble match and for Gunther to defend against Goldberg there.
Ultimately, if Rollins and Reed have a second match, Reed should win. If this is a one and done, give it to Rollins. That’s my prediction.
Six-Man Tag Team Match: Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) vs. The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and/or Jacob Fatu)
Two scenarios can happen here that end in virtually the same way. My less favorite option would be for the babyfaces to win, as I think they need to look like they can’t get their act together quite yet to put them in a more vulnerable spot come WarGames. I’d much rather Jacob Fatu sit this out and to interfere in a way that Solo Sikoa can pin Roman Reigns of all people, to really make the crowd think “Oh damn, Sikoa has every right to call himself Tribal Chief right now” and then, after the match when it’s a 4-on-3 scenario, Sami Zayn comes out to help make the save.
Triple Threat Match for the United States Championship: LA Knight (c) vs. Andrade vs. Carmelo Hayes
Please put the belt on Melo. I love me some LA Knight, but I don’t think he needs the title anymore. If anything, it’s hindering him. Andrade shouldn’t even be involved in this at this point, and Hayes is the guy to give the gold to in order to build him up for the future.
My ideal scenario here is Hayes pins Andrade, which effectively gives him the ultimate win from the Best of Seven Series. Then, Knight claims that he lost the title without getting pinned, so they have a one-on-one that Hayes also wins to retain. Knight then moves on to feud with someone else like Kevin Owens after the program with Randy Orton is finished.
Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton
Speaking of Kevin Owens, I think he has to win this. Randy Orton’s ultimate endgame for my personal preference is to feud with Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania. I’m hoping that’s the plan. Owens, in the meantime, is certainly going to get another title match against Rhodes, either at Survivor Series or Saturday Night’s Main Event, if they can stretch that long enough (which I’m worried about). The only way Owens looks strong enough to fight Cody again is if he beats The Viper and follows through with putting him in a dangerous spot for an injury like Triple H was worried about.
Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship: Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair (c) vs. Damage CTRL (Kairi Sane and Iyo Sky) vs. Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson) vs. Chelsea Green and Piper Niven
Flip a coin. The titles could change hands as a means to get the belts off Belair and Cargill without them getting pinned, just like the last time, or it could be just filler to get a lot of women on the card and they stay put. Since so little movement has been made in any potential feud between the two, I don’t think Belair and Cargill are splitting any time soon. I’m expecting them to walk into Mania with the tag titles, rather than to be opposite each other in the ring.
With that in mind, I guess I’m just sticking with the champions retaining. It’s the most boring outcome, but it’s the safest bet.
Women’s Crown Jewel Championship Match: Liv Morgan vs. Nia Jax
This was definitely not on my bingo card. I don’t think it’ll be a great match whatsoever, and it’s funny that the most intriguing part is whether or not Tiffany Stratton will cash in. If she does, it is obviously going to be against Jax, rather than Morgan. But I don’t think that will happen. Like most scenarios, I expect this to be just a tease to drum up interest of a potential cash-in, only for Stratton to get taken out by Raquel Rodriguez.
Either Jax wins this and that’s part of the reason why Stratton doesn’t feel like she can cash in, or Raquel and Dominik Mysterio are enough of a distraction that costs Jax the match. Before Rhea Ripley’s injury, I thought we’d see her interfere and screw over Liv, but now, I’m leaning more toward Liv winning.
Men’s Crown Jewel Championship Match: Cody Rhodes vs. Gunther
Gunther needs to win. Not only does that offset Rhodes eliminating him in the Royal Rumble, it also avoids a scenario where fans roll their eyes because the babyface “wins everything.” WWE always has to be aware of how much they tip too close to the Super Cena methodology. Plus, it’s an easy out to have Owens interfere and cost Cody. That’s too simple to pass up.
