— Retention is the positive spin for Monday nights’s episode of RAW. Monday’s episode brought in 3.33 million viewers and a 1.14 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. The rating is even with last week’s, while the viewership slipped under 1% from last week’s 3.349 million. While the numbers are by no means good — the viewership is another low for the show — the fact that the show is not falling against the new fall season is a good thing, although the fact that the show dropped from hour to hour isn’t encouraging.
RAW ranked #5 for the night among cable originals, with ESPN’s Monday Night Football leading the way at a 5.13 demo rating and 13.514 million viewers (a stronger number than last week’s 4.65 and 12.479 million). The hourly numbers are below:
8 PM: 1.22 demo rating (3.476 million viewers)
9 PM: 1.10 demo rating (3.326 million viewers)
10 PM: 1.09 demo rating (3.188 million viewers)
