AEW Full Gear 2022
Highlights:
- William Regal helped MJF to win the AEW World Championship by passing him some brass knuckles, betrayed Jon Moxley and the Blackpool Combat Club.
- Keith Lee abandoned Swerve Strickland during their title match because Strickland wanted him to use a vise grip on The Acclaimed.
- Jade Cargill finally got her stolen TBS title back after defeating Nyla Rose.
- Saraya was emotional after winning her first match back since being forced into retirement.
- Samoa Joe used his experience by taking advantage of Wardlow’s Powerbomb Symphony to become a double champion.
- Death Triangle defeated The Elite after Pac handed Fenix his hammer. Fenix was reluctant to use it, but when Omega picked him up for the One Winged Angel, he felt compelled to do so. He instantly regretted winning that way, while Pac & Penta were happy. AEW announced that the two teams will go through a Best of 7 series, and this wins means Death Triangle are 1-0 up.
- Eddie Kingston showed a ton of respect to Jun Akiyama after defeating his hero.
