WWE Elimination Chamber 2022
Highlights:
- In the men’s Elimination Chamber, Brock Lesnar last eliminated Austin Theory after giving him an F-5 from the top of a pod. With this win, Brock Lesnar will go to WrestleMania to challenge Roman Reigns in a Champion vs. Champion unification match.
- Bobby Lashley was taken out of the Elimination Chamber because of a “concussion protocol”, after Seth Rollins launched Austin Theory through his pod and on to him.
- In the opening match, Roman Reigns survived two spears before coming back to make Goldberg pass out from the Guillotine choke submission.
- The Usos attacked The Viking Raiders during their entrance, to the point that officials decided the match should not take place.
- Ronda Rousey was stipulated to have one arm tied behind her back. Sonya Deville was in a cast, but revealed after the bell she had recovered. Rousey still made her submit.
- Falls Count Anywhere was pretty much a handicap match for Drew McIntyre against the duo of Madcap Moss & Happy Corbin. McIntyre introduced Angela the sword, which scared Corbin enough to keep away as he finished Moss.
- Lita gained a lot of respect from the audience for her match with Becky Lynch. She thanked the crowd like it could be her last.
- Bianca Belair won her first Elimination Chamber by pinning Alexa Bliss, who made her return to action since last competing in September.
