During this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Wardlow faced off against the returning Brian Cage in an AEW TNT Championship match. In the end, it was Wardlow who won the bout and retained his title.
Following the bout, The Embassy attacked Wardlow but FTR came out to make the save.

Also on Wednesday night’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Jon Moxley came out to cut a promo on Hangman Page.
In two weeks, Page vs. Moxley will be taking place for a shot at the latter’s AEW World Championship. Moxley told Page that he’s been waiting for this match for three years and will be throwing out all of the respect he has for him once they get inside the ring.

And finally, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara picked up a win over Daniel Garcia and Bryan Danielson in the main event of AEW Dynamite. The finish of the match came when Jericho hit Garcia with the ROH World Championship, allowing Guevara to get the pin.
