The Elite have made history by becoming 2-time AEW World Trios Champions as Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks beat Death Triangle in the finals of the Best of Seven Series to win the prestigious titles this week on AEW Dynamite.
Omega nailed Rey Fenix with a One Winged Angel off the ladder and clocked PAC with a Black Arrow. The Cleaner then climbed the ladder and retrieved the titles to score the victory for his team.
Omega and The Young Bucks initially won the inaugural Trios Titles this past September at AEW All Out. However, CEO Tony Khan later stripped The Elite of the titles due to their involvement in the backstage brawl with CM Punk and Ace Steel following the pay-per-view event.
Death Triangle won the vacant titles by defeating Best Friends on the September 7th episode of Dynamite.
