Adam Cole and Britt Baker, a beloved couple in the wrestling community since they started dating in 2017, recently sparked rumors of a breakup.

The news surprised fans who viewed them as the perfect wrestling pair. Cole has now confirmed that they have parted ways.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Cole stated that he and Baker have concluded their romantic relationship.

Nonetheless, Cole mentioned that they still care for one another deeply and maintain a supportive friendship.

Cole voiced his admiration for the former AEW Women’s World Champion, saying that he wants her to be happy and successful, just as she wants the same for him.

He recognized that although they have decided to part ways, Britt will remain a significant figure in his life, and he considers her one of his closest friends.

Cole said, “We are no longer a coupleBut when I say that we both still love each other and are still friends and still so supportive of each other, that could not be more true. I think the world of Britt. I want her to be as happy and successful as humanly possible, and I know she feels the exact same way about me. We did decide to go our separate ways, but that doesn’t mean that she will not be an incredibly important part of my life. Britt is absolutely one of my best friends. She’s someone that I love dearly and will always love dearly, and there is no ill will between me and her whatsoever.”

Cole also revealed that reading the comments online regarding their breakup has been challenging for him. He emphasized that there is no resentment between them and that it’s possible for people to separate while still having feelings for one another.

Moreover, Cole expressed his desire for fans to recognize that taking sides is unnecessary.

He continued, “I don’t want anyone to ever think that me and Britt dislike each other. I think it is possible, in situations, for people who are in relationships to kind of go their separate ways, but still care about one another. The last thing I would want is fans to pick sides or anything like that.”
