As many of you know by now, AEW Dynamite and WWE NXT will be going head-to-head on November 6th as NXT will be moving nights to avoid competing with Election Day coverage in the United States.
During a recent interview with TV Insider, Cole explained why it’s something he’s excited about.

On AEW and NXT going head-to-head on November 6th: “I think it’s very exciting. I feel any time there is any kind of competition within pro wrestling, it has been nothing but a positive. When there is only one show in town, it can only do so much. I think when there are situations where people can challenge each other or go up against each other, it brings out the best in both places. It’s nothing but a good thing. It’s good for the wrestlers and fans alike.”
On the themed Fright Night Dynamite episode next week: “I’m a huge Halloween fan. I moved back to Pennsylvania, so me and my brother actually at least once a week watch a horror movie in the month of October. We just recently watched a movie called Oddity. A really good movie I recommend for everyone. I love concept shows like [“Fright Night Dynamite]. It’s certainly something I would love to be involved in.”
On his most memorable Halloween costume: “Yes! When I was a kid for four or five years, I would dress like Dracula every single time. You couldn’t get me out of the Dracula outfit. The most recent one I like was Handsome Jack from Borderlands 2, which was a year or two ago. I don’t know what my costume this year will be. I have to think about it.”
Deonna Purrazzo has a bunch of talents she wants to face off against in All Elite Wrestling, including Kris Statlander, Willow Nightingale, Mercedes Mone and more. She said,
“Oh gosh, Kris Statlander. Very briefly a few weeks ago, I worked with Willow Nightingale, but I think she’s just such an organic babyface, that would be great for a program with the real heel Virtuosa. Skye Blue when she’s healthy to come back. Mercedes Mone, of course.”
She continued, “I just think our roster continues to grow, and everyone, I think especially in AEW, but just wrestling in general now, moves so fast, so I think that Kamille just debuted with Mercedes not too long ago, I think Kamille is amazing. I’d love to actually wrestle her. We’ve done one little thing together ever. There’s so many people on our roster.”
