During a recent appearance on the “Q101” podcast, AEW wrestler Adam Cole expressed his excitement for newly crowned TNT Champion Daniel Garcia.
Cole said, “Daniel Garcia is a big one for me. I think he is just unbelievably talented, so so good. Whether it’s in the ring, on the microphone, he has a hunger to want to be better and want to be as good as humanly possible. He really is, it’s amazing to watch his development. Danny Garcia definitely gets me really excited thinking about the future of AEW, he’s one that comes to mind.”
In a recently released clip from NJPW, former IWGP and AEW Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks expressed their desire for a chance at the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Titles during the upcoming Wrestle Dynasty event.
The video showed that the AEW Executive Vice Presidents are currently working from home after losing the AEW World Tag Team Titles to Private Party last month on AEW Dynamite.
The IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships are currently held by The United Empire’s Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb, who are set to defend them against the winners of the 2024 World Tag League at Wrestle Kingdom 19 on January 4.
Therefore, The Young Bucks are likely to face the winners of that match.
Wrestle Dynasty is scheduled for Sunday, January 5, 2025, at the Tokyo Dome in Tokyo, Japan, and will be a co-promotional event featuring talents from NJPW, CMLL, ROH, AEW, and STARDOM.
