Adam Cole is ready to get back in the ring with Ricochet, years after the pair collided in WWE, now that the two wrestlers are part of AEW.
In a recent interview with “3NT Wrestling,” Cole was asked about facing Ricochet in AEW, an idea the former NXT Champion is all for. He said,
“I would love it! Ricochet is one of my favorite opponents. He’s a superhero. He’s just unbelievable; the things that he can do. So I’m so excited that he’s here in AEW, and I don’t see any reason why at some point down the line, we can’t do Adam Cole versus Ricochet two in AEW now. I hope so. Me too, me too.”
Cole and Ricochet did battle several times during their time in WWE NXT, including facing off for the North American Title at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn 4.
Cole arrived in AEW in 2021, shortly after his contract with WWE expired and he won the inaugural Owen Hart Men’s Tournament in 2022.
Ricochet debuted in AEW at All In: London earlier this year. He has since feuded with Will Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita over the International Title.
