Adam Cole has shared his thoughts on the demanding process of recovering from his injury, stating that he was never inclined to distance himself from pro wrestling.

During a recent appearance on “The Wrestling Classic” podcast, Cole discussed his return from his injuries.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On his difficult road to recovery: “The past two years have definitely been challenging between the concussion injury and then being back for six months, and then having this awful ankle injury. Mentally, it was really tough, but now that I’m back to work, ready to go, jumping back in there, physically, I feel great. It’s the best I’ve felt in two years.”

On if he ever considered that his career could be done: “There was no part of me whatsoever that was ready to accept the idea of stepping away … especially with something like an ankle. I’m like, I know I can rehab from that. I know I can come back from that … I’m not even close to wanting to be done. So I think I got a lot of my career left, at least I hope so.”

During a recent appearance on the “WrestleBinge” podcast, Orange Cassidy addressed rumors of dissension in AEW and stated that the locker room is among the finest he has ever experienced.

Cassidy has been with AEW since 2019, nearly from its inception.

He said,I don’t like to read the gossip and go online and see the discourse most of the time because it’s a very negative space. It’s very hard to find positive criticism from those areas. But sometimes you hear about, ‘Oh, the locker room’s in disarray.’ The locker room in AEW is incredible. It’s one of the best I’ve been a part of, and it has never faltered. Whatever you’re hearing is just a very isolated incident. [The internet], they just take that one thing and run with it because nothing else really happens. Everybody changes together in the same small room, I promise you, and I think what we’re trying to cultivate in AEW is a place where if you are an AEW roster member and we all work together to make everybody better. We’re trying to make that a thing where it’s not, ‘I need to step on this person so I can get higher up on the ladder.’ It’s, ‘We’re gonna help each other up the ladder’.”
