Adam Copeland cut a promo on Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite, addressing the “negative BS” that has been said about Tony Khan’s company this week.
The TBS Champion kicked off this week’s show by coming out to the ring and stating that he needed to address the “negative BS” spewed over the past week, and that he wanted to handle it by talking about positives.
Copeland revealed how he had his career torn away for nine years and realized that he needed to finish his career in AEW upon returning to in-ring competition.
Copeland further noted that he had been in some of the greatest locker rooms and would put AEW’s against anyone.
The TBS Champion spoke about all the wrestlers he could face in AEW and praised Tony Khan’s promotion for presenting him with the most fun in his career.
Copeland then referenced The Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Cody Rhodes, and Khan, and said they’re all fans.
He stated that AEW has pushed the industry to a better place and let more people pursue their love for wrestling.
While Copeland did not mention specific names, CM Punk made plenty of scathing remarks about AEW during his recent appearance on “The MMA Hour” podcast earlier this week.
