While the simultaneous scheduling may not significantly impact AEW’s pay-per-view buys, it could potentially affect the attendance for AEW Worlds End 2024.
Fightful Select is reporting that people within AEW have expressed concerns regarding the potential impact on ticket sales due to WWE’s concurrent event.
The report states, “Based on the reactions that I’ve got, it seems to be a deliberate and focused effort, driven by WWE’s current popularity and their holiday tour. This situation is part of healthy competition and the inherent nature of the business.”
