AEW will host its twelfth Battle of the Belts event this October, from the Adventist Health Arena in Stockton, California, it has been confirmed.
The show will be held alongside AEW Collision on October 17, which is a Thursday, and will presumably be aired on Saturday, October 19, as is customary.
AEW has hosted its Battle of the Belts events since January 2022. So far, only one match has seen a challenger win the gold from a Champion.
The match saw Sammy Guevara dethrone TNT Champion Scorpio Sky to win the title at AEW Battle of the Belts II in April 2022.
AEW Battle of the Belts XI took place in July of this year and saw Dustin Rhodes and the Von Erichs win the previously vacant ROH World Six-Man Tag-Team Titles.
