AEW Dynamite Grand Slam Ratings Breakdown (9/25/24)

The Grand Slam special episode of AEW Dynamite saw an increase in viewership and ratings.

AEW Dynamite drew 702,000 viewers and had a 0.23 rating in the key 18-49 demographic, with a 0.16 rating in the 18-34 demo.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has shared a more detailed breakdown of the numbers, including data for each quarter-hour.

The main competition of the night was the WNBA game featuring the Connecticut Sun and the Indiana Fever, with rising star Caitlin Clark. This game drew 2,537,000 viewers and had a 0.55 rating on ESPN.

Despite this competition, AEW Dynamite secured the #3 position for the night on cable and #2 in its time slot, with the WNBA game taking the lead.

Another late game between the Minnesota Lynx and the Phoenix Mercury on ESPN had 1,216,000 viewers and a 0.33 rating. On network TV, Survivor was the most-watched show, with 4,466,000 viewers and a 0.72 rating.

Compared to the previous week, AEW Dynamite’s viewership increased by 2.5%, and the ratings in the 18-49 and 18-34 demographics increased by 13.3% and 26.7% respectively.

However, compared to last year, there was a decrease of 17.9% in viewers, 6.6% in the 18-49 demographic, and 11.6% in the 18-34 demographic.

AEW Dynamite drew 76,000 men and 38,000 women in the 18-34 demographic and 130,000 men and 70,000 women in the 35-49 demographic. The audience comprised 60.4% males in the 18-49 demographic.
