AEW fans in Australia will now be able to get more value for money as part of a special offer for tickets for the upcoming Grand Slam event.
On a recent edition of “Wrestling Observer Radio,” Dave Meltzer shared news about the offer which he believes bodes poorly for the show. He said,
“That tells you not only—it’s not even the last two, three weeks out. That tells me there are a lot of seats left.”
AEW Grand Slam: Australia will take place on February 15 at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre in Brisbane, Queensland.
The show had originally been announced for Suncorp Stadium, which can hold 52,000 fans, before moving to the 13,500-seater BEC.
Though AEW has yet to give an explanation for the change, many have claimed that the move came about due to poor ticket sales.
Two matches have been confirmed for the show so far: Toni Storm vs. Mariah May and Will Ospreay & Kenny Omega vs. Konosuke Takeshita & Kyle Fletcher.
