During the AEW WrestleDream 2024 “Zero Hour” pre-show, the grandsons of Antonio Inoki, Naoto & Hirota appeared alongside AEW President Tony Khan. Khan then attempted to lead the crowd in a chant of Ichi Ni San Da!
Also on the AEW WrestleDream 2024 “Zero Hour” pre-show, Anna Jay defeated Harley Cameron after hitting a Gory Bomb for the pin.
The final match of the AEW WrestleDream 2024 “Zero Hour” pre-show saw The Outrunners team with Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly to defeat the team of The Premier Athletes and The Dark Order.

During the main AEW WrestleDream 2024 card, Darby Allin pinned Brody King for the first time ever in a wrestling ring.
The finish came when Allin managed to knock King off the top rope onto the steel steps, following it up with a Coffin Drop.
Following the match, King showed respect to Allin.
