Tom Pestock (fka Baron Corbin) has seemingly backed Tony Khan as speculation continues to circulate around Rey Fenix’s status with AEW.
Last year, Khan added injury time to Fenix’s contract, preventing him from leaving AEW alongside Penta, who has since joined WWE.
The decision to keep Fenix has sparked a debate among fans given that Fenix has not been used on TV in months and there are no plans to use him soon.
On Twitter, Pestock argued that Fenix has an obligation to fulfill his contract rather than seek an early exit.

Fenix has been with AEW since 2019. He is a former Trios, Tag Team, and International Champion. He last competed for AEW in July 2024.
