Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. returned to action for All Elite Wrestling on the fifth anniversary of AEW Dynamite after being gone since losing to Mercedes Mone at AEW All In London on August 25th.
As this week’s episode took place at the Petersen Events Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania— aka, in Brittsburgh — Baker was given the hometown hero treatment despite all the controversy and criticism surrounding her name as of late.
With the fans in attendance sporting their traditional yellow Terrible Towels to rally support for her — save for AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May, who was ringside and overlooking the action — Baker was able to secure a victory over Serena Deeb by submission with her Lockjaw finisher.
Deeb went after Baker following the match, only for Queen Aminata to make the save.
Queen Aminata kept Serena Deeb from dealing permanent damage to Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.!
