During a recent appearance on “DDP’s Gauntlet” YouTube series, Dr. Britt Baker recalled her notable Lights Out Anything Goes Match against Thunder Rosa in March 2021 on AEW Dynamite.
Baker revealed that Chris Jericho offered her valuable help in preparing for the match.
She said, “That was the most nervous I’ve ever been in my life. I never did a table bump before. Jericho sent me a video beforehand of how to do it, and it was the funniest thing ever. I’ll save it ’til the end of time.”
Thunder Rosa emerged victorious in that encounter, and their rivalry continued after Baker won the AEW Women’s World Championship.
During a recent appearance on the “Going Ringside” podcast, Adam Cole discussed Toni Storm’s return to AEW and experiencing some form of amnesia or memory loss.
Cole suggested that Storm might be trying to come to terms with the trauma of her betrayal by Mariah May and her earlier loss of the AEW Women’s World Title.
He said, “I don’t know what’s going on with Toni Storm. Clearly, she went through a very traumatic thing, so maybe she’s trying to process all of that. Yeah, I don’t know, I hope Toni Storm figures out what is going on with Toni Storm soon because she’s very talented.”
