Bryan Danielson has enjoyed a lengthy career in the wrestling business, but it was only this year that he experienced the highlight of his career.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo earlier this month, Danielson reflected on his tenure in the ring and revealed his favorite moment from his run. He said,
“When you look at things from a grand perspective, like All In this year was my favorite moment in my wrestling career, wrestling Swerve.”
Danielson’s match at Wembley Stadium this past August saw him become AEW World Champion, his first World Title reign since 2019.
When asked for his thoughts at the time, Danielson shared that he tried to focus on savoring the moment in front of his family. He said,
“It’s something that I’m going to cherish for the rest of my life. My daughter, when we got to the back, she was like ‘This is the best day of my life.'”
Danielson’s reign was ended at AEW WrestleDream by Jon Moxley which also marked the end of his full-time career in the ring.
