Major League Wrestling has announced that Esfinge will compete at the upcoming MLW x CMLL event, Lucha Apocalypto, which takes place on November 9 in Chicago, IL.

On a recent edition of “The Nikki & Brie Show,” Bryan Danielson shared his thoughts on Nigel McGuinness’ performance in their match at AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam. He said,

I had another really cool thing that happened on Wednesday. I got to wrestle Nigel McGuinness. A lot of people might not know Nigel McGuinness, but we helped really make each other on the independent scene and that sort of thing. He had a lot of injuries and all that kind of stuff. Then he hasn’t wrestled. He hadn’t done a singles match in 13 years. He’s 48 years old, and we just wrestled at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Wednesday. I mean, it was really cool and really special. For somebody who hasn’t wrestled in 13 years, he did fantastic. It was so neat, and it was so cool, and it was so special. He did something we should have done. Nigel said, ‘Hey, would you mind meeting my daughter beforehand so that she can know that we’re friends and that we’re not actually hurting each other out there.’ As soon as he told me back, I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, we should have totally done that for Birdie!”

Bryan defeated McGuinness to retain the AEW World Championship.

And finally, on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Matt Hardy weighed in on his and Jeff Hardy’s roles as a dynamic tag team duo.

Matt said, “Whenever I break it down, I usually say like I’m the architect and he is the rockstar. Those are our strengths and what we do best. So, yeah, it’s so cool, Jeff’s just, like, he’ll run stuff by me, he’ll get wild ideas, and I love the fact he has these creative juices following now more than ever, and you can just tell. I think we feel it, and I think it comes off when we do interviews and whatnot, we’re really happy with what we’re doing right now. We’re really happy with how we’re being treated, and just everything we’ve done at TNA has been an absolute blast.”

The Hardys are currently free agents and working for TNA Wrestling.
