Bryan Danielson may have had a Hall of Fame-worthy career in WWE, but don’t expect the American Dragon to be accepting a ring anytime soon.
Before leaving WWE in 2021, Danielson was one of the promotion’s top Superstars and became a multi-time World Champion, as well as a Grand Slam winner.
On a recent edition of the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Danielson was asked if a Hall of Fame spot would encourage him to return to WWE. He said,
“I love where I am now. I’m also not under contract, so realistically, I just want to be free. As for a Hall of Fame ring or other accolades, I have no interest in those. None whatsoever.”
Danielson’s contract with AEW expired on August 1, but the veteran is continuing to make appearances for the company and will wrestle at All In: London 2024.
