During a recent appearance on the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Bully Ray commented on Chris Jericho’s future in AEW and his belief that the company can’t afford to lose him.

On Chris Jericho helping AEW: “He’s trying to entertain you with the band, entertain you with the backstage segments, always reinventing himself. Jericho is doing everything and everything to help AEW out, whether that’s with young talent himself, you name it. He checks every single frickin’ box. Yet they give him the backlash and the hate that they do. Why? Why, AEW fans? Why?”
On Jericho putting over other talent: “He’s putting other talents in great positions. He’s giving other talents the rub, but he can’t be the other talent for the other talent. He can only put them in the best position to succeed. He can only present them with the best opportunities to succeed. Then they have to execute.”
During a recent appearance on “The Nikki & Brie Show,” former AEW World Champion Bryan Danielson revealed that he wakes up in the middle of the night thinking about professional wrestling. He said,
“That’s one of the things I haven’t found something for, for that part of my brain, to use that creative part of my brain and coming up with things. I still, it’s been over a month now since my last match, and I still wake up in the middle of the night and think of wrestling things. ‘This is not useful. I wish I would have thought of this a few years ago.’ That’s been the part that’s hard, but I anticipated it.”
