During Tuesday’s episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray commented on how important tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite is and what he’d like to see happen on the show.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On the importance of tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite: “Wednesday, to me, is a very important show for AEW. Last year after All In, they never followed up on the biggest show that they ever did. They never followed up on a show that did 80,000 people, and if they did follow up, it did not stick … [tonight’s] show is gonna mean a lot … Wednesday night really needs to resonate with the AEW fan. This Wednesday night has to reinforce to the AEW fan why they watch AEW.”

On what he hopes happens on tonight’s show: “Hopefully with the success of All In and all the chatter about it brings some eyes back to AEW. I hope they remind everybody this Wednesday about the Danielson victory, what Ospreay was able to accomplish, all of this stuff. I don’t think his one is just gonna blow by, or at least I hope it doesn’t blow by, for their sake.”

AEW wrestler Nick Wayne was a recent guest on the “Battleground Podcast” to discuss a variety of topics, including what it’s like working with and getting advice from Christian Cage and Adam Copeland in AEW.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On being mentored by two of his favorites in Adam Copeland and Christian Cage: “It’s just unreal. I was once asking Sting and now [I’m] asking Christian, ‘Please, watch my matches and just tear me apart with critiques because I want to get better.’ So it’s great to hear what they have to say and, of course, they’re some of the best to do it. Everywhere they’ve gone, they’ve succeeded in their careers, and I want to do the same thing. So it truly is an honor for me to just have them as a mentor and be under their learning tree.”

On aligning with Christian: “Ever since I aligned myself with Christian, [I’ve] been looked at as something very serious and a standout act on AEW. Being under his wing, and being there on TV with Christian, just kind of raised my value, in a way, on TV.”
