During a recent “Signed By Superstars” virtual signing, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray revealed that there’s not a single person who can hang with him on the microphone when there are no scripts involved, including AEW wrestler MJF.
Ray said, “Let me explain something to you. There’s not one person in this industry that can hang with me on the microphone when no scripts are involved and those mics are hot. Nobody. [The host of the virtual signing said they’d like to see a promo exchange between MJF and Bully Ray.] He’d [MJF] get killed.”
During a recent appearance on the “Battleground Podcast,” TBS Champion Mercedes Mone commented on her run in AEW so far, becoming the NJPW Strong Women’s Champion, and more.
You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:
On her AEW run so far: “I mean, my first what, seven months? It’s been amazing. Look at [these titles] behind you. Each title has its own locker. It’s amazing. It’s been the best, so far, the best so far I’ve ever felt in my career, having these matches and opportunity and just the chance to keep on growing and going and having these dreams and living old dreams.”
On becoming NJPW Strong Women’s Champion: “My biggest dream was to be in Japan, and now I’m a New Japan Strong Women’s Champion. It’s been the best so far in AEW because this is where the best wrestle, and AEW makes sure that I still have this really competitive fire in me, I still want to be the absolute best, and I feel like I’m just getting started.”
