Chris Jericho has shared his thoughts on the future of Britt Baker in AEW after she made headlines last week.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Baker’s days on AEW programming may have already come to an end as Tony Khan is “fed up” with the former champion.
Khan is so annoyed by Baker that he prefers to spend his TV time on others and ignore the DMD.
Moreover, nobody wants Baker to return to programming. The former AEW Women’s World Champion is “wildly unpopular in the women’s locker room” and is reportedly territorial about her position in the women’s division.
During a recent appearance on “The Takedown” podcast, Jericho commented on Baker’s future in AEW. He said,
“You would have to ask Britt that. I haven’t really heard either way, but I know she’s obviously a very valuable part of the company. She’s one of the OGs, probably one of our first homegrown stars, and I think she does a great job whenever she’s in the ring. So, I don’t see her leaving or going anywhere, and I’m looking forward to having her come back on the show because she has a great character and a great presence and, once again, a great fan base within AEW and within the wrestling world.”
Baker is believed to have a year and a half left on her AEW contract.
