Christopher Daniels assumed the role of interim EVP at AEW following his “firing” by The Young Bucks.
During a recent discussion with Renee Paquette, Daniels shared his take on the new role. He said,
“Honestly, I think it means that I take a better beating than Tony Khan. That really is the long and short of it. He came back from a neck injury pretty quick. I think all it means is that when decisions need to be made and Tony doesn’t want to go out and possibly risk being attacked by other EVPs, it’s time for CD to take a role. Here I am.”
