During Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision, Adam “Cope” Copeland conveyed his respect for Brody King, noting that the House Of Black member possesses a “world of potential.”
However, Cope did not refer to Malakai Black in his promo.
Cope and King were part of an intense rivalry last year that also included Black.
As we previously reported here on eWn, Black is expected to depart from AEW and become a free agent in February or March.
Cope said, “We’ve been through a lot, but I hope you know that at the end of all of it, I respect you. I respect you [Julia]. I respect Buddy. I think you have the world of potential at your feet. I know what you bring to the table. Man, I felt it. I wanted us to be a group. But tell you what, it’s time for you to take the reins and run.”
COPE shares words of wisdom as he stands face to face once again with Brody King.

A trios match has been announced for the Maximum Carnage edition of AEW Dynamite on Max and TNT.
The Hurt Syndicate, including MVP, will battle Mark Briscoe and Private Party on the January 15th show.

And finally, a new contender for the MLW World Championship was crowned on Saturday night’s MLW Kings of Colosseum event as Mads Krule Krugger defeated Matthew Justice, Mr. Thomas, and BRG to win the Gravity Gamble Ladder Match and earn a shot at the world title.
Krugger tossed Justice off the ladder through a table on the outside. Kevin Knight was supposed to compete in the match but was attacked by The Andersons before it began.
